Honeydew Sago Dessert (Chinese - Dessert) Recipe

A refreshing dessert made with honeydew melon, sago pearls, and coconut milk. It has a light and fruity flavor, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients:
  • Honeydew melon - 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg)
  • Sago pearls - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • Coconut milk - 1.7 cups (400 ml)
  • Water - 6.3 cups (1.5 L)
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
Instructions
  • Peel, seed and cut honeydew melon into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  • In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add sago pearls and cook for 10-15 minutes until translucent. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  • In another pot, bring coconut milk and sugar to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine honeydew melon, sago pearls and coconut milk mixture.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy cold.
